In the frames of the European Heritage Days, MedINA, with the valuable contribution of Anemoessa, the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Lemnos and Places & Traces, is holding the event “Kehayias and Mandra – Lemnian Stories in Space and Time”, in Myrina, Lemnos.

On Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 6 p.m., at the “Maroula” Cinema, we will journey through time and explore the cultural heritage of the island! Through films, stories, discussions and music and dance performances, we will delve into the role of Kehayias and the traditional Mandra and their contribution to the evolution of the agricultural sector and the food heritage of Lemnos.

We would like to extend a warm thank you to Anemoessa, the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Lemnos and Places & Traces for their collaboration. By supporting actions related to cultural heritage and tradition, knowledge is passed down to generations to come and stays relevant!
