Foivos Delivorias once again unfolds the map of Greece, marking cities and traveling with his summer performance, “Hartis” (Map), from one end of the country to the other!
On Saturday 27 September, Konitsa welcomes Foivos Delivorias to its central square for a very special concert dedicated to the Aoos/Vjosa river — one of the last wild rivers in Europe.
Organised by MedINA, under the auspices of the Municipality of Konitsa, the concert takes place within the framework of the Transboundary River Forum (TRF) Transboundary River Forum (TRF) and in celebration of World Rivers Day. With free admission, the evening invites everyone to come closer to the river, to reflect, and to join voices through music in the hope that the Aoos will remain a living source of life.
Foivos Delivorias shares: “Once again this summer, I felt the urge to travel across Greece. And to share music with others. “Chartis” (Map), my new concert project, has journeyed through Greece and Cyprus together with the two musicians who have been my main companions in music for the past 14 years: Kostis Christodoulou and Sotiris Ntouvas. Piano-keys, drums, and myself on guitar. With us is Giannis Petrolias, a rare and inspired master of sound design, and Dimitris Makris, who captures each of our stops in photos and film. We continue, following wherever the Map leads, to meet curious and wonderful people — and to seize the moment through music!”.
