International Conference ECHOPOLIS 2018: MedINA to present the newly launched INCREAte Approach

,The International Conference Echopolis 2018 “Nature and Culture-based strategies and solutions for cities and territories” is taking place in Athens. SDMed Observation, Planning & Ecoinnovation in collaboration Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and the School of Applied Arts and Culture of the University of West Attica are organising this event in order to celebrate the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 from 26th to 28th November 2018.

Dr. Nicos Georgiadis from MedINA’s scientific team will present the INCREAte approach in Plenary Session II «Reconnecting natural and cultural heritage» on 26th November. The presentation will focus on MedINA’s newly launched INCREAte Approach which aims to support and enrich the protection and management of the natural environment, by focusing not only on environmental but also cultural aspects and on the involvement of local communities and stakeholders. The practical example of its application on Kythera island will also be presented.
