MedINA is looking for an Educator – Project Manager, based in Epirus, to take over the implementation of MedINA’s educational activities in the framework of the project “Let it Flow! A Role-Playing Game for Aoos river basin management”, implemented in collaboration with the Centre for Environmental Education (KPE) of Konitsa.
The “Let it Flow” project is an innovative environmental education and capacity building project that aims to encourage students and teachers of the Aoos river basin to engage in the integrated protection of their rivers. The project is designed to contribute to the overall objective of maintaining the free flow of the Aoos River and its tributaries as a transboundary ecological corridor and resource for local community development.
The successful candidate will report to the Freshwater Programme Manager of the organisation and to the Local Coordinator of Aoos based in Epirus. The ideal candidate should have an undergraduate degree in a subject related to the project, excellent written and oral communication skills in Greek and good knowledge of English and computer and web-based tools. Previous professional experience in environmental education projects will be taken into account.
