Lemnos hosts another one of our associates – Danae Sfakianou! Danae is an agronomist and has been working with the organisation since 2018 originally for the Terra Lemnia project and eventually for the Terra Graeca programme.
In the photo on the right, she is seen with Magda Gerliotou, teacher of Moudros High School, during an event held in May 2022, in the central square of Myrina . Among other activities, on that day, valonia oak (Quercus ithaburensis subsp. macrolepis) tree saplings were distributed to the participants and passersby!
