September 2017, MedINA’s offices in Voukourestiou Street. Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding/Cooperation between Thymio Papayannis and Giannis Selimas, current Head of the Management Unit of Messolonghi National Park and Protected Areas of Western Central Greece.
In 2022 the Ministry of Culture and Sports announced the inscription of the “Traditional Fisheries of the Messolonghi-Aetoliko Lagoon National Park” in the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Greece. MedINA coordinated the inscription initiative.
