Paros 2023. Fanikos, alongside MedINA’s longtime collaborator, Dr. Erwin Bergmeier, Professor of Phytodiversity at the University of Göttingen, conducting fieldwork at Kavouropotamos stream, monitoring the impact of stone stone-built weirs on the vegetation communities of ephemeral streams.
Ios 2023. A recent moment, captured during the preliminary assessment for the positioning of stone weirs on Ios island, marking the start of the Med-RESET project: Building climate resilience and supporting sustainable water management.
